Lee Health Community Update
As we all continue to work to address the needs related to COVID-19 and pivot from our normal flow of life into this ever-changing new normal, I wanted to take a moment to share some resources.
Our communications teams are working hard to keep staff, volunteers, and the general public informed with the latest news as it happens. Below is a daily update to the Board of Directors for Lee Health and is available online where current information related to COVID-19 is housed: https://www.leehealth.org/public-health.
If you or anyone else is in need of medical advice related to the current pandemic, please don’t hesitate to call us. Our Lee Telehealth system is also now free of charge. www.LeeTeleHealth.org
The Florida Department of Health has created this dashboard, which you can use to stay abreast of cases, and positive and negative test results, in our state and county.
The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration has created fact sheets (both attached), to help you talk to your children and to take care of yourselves during an infectious disease outbreak. Click here for resources.
Headspace, the popular meditation app, is now being offered for free. Click here to access.
Our Community Affairs team remains a resource to you as liaison to the health system. We have been in touch with many of you as it relates to cancelled community events, programmatic outreach or in exploration of new and innovative ways we can potentially partner to create impact for our community during this time. As always, please be in touch with any questions, concerns or ideas.
Thank you for all you do for our community.
