Physicians Caring for Our Community

Founded in 1927, the Lee County Medical Society is a professional organization of physicians built upon collegiality and collaboration for the benefit of physicians, the practice of medicine and the health of our community.

Mission Statement:

The Lee County Medical Society advocates for physicians and their relationships with patients; promotes public health; and upholds the professionalism of the practice of medicine.

Our member physicians benefit from opportunities to network and collaborate with physicians representing every specialty and practice environment, access to our innovative physician education and practice management resources, leadership programming and opportunities, efforts to positively impact provider wellness, and gain the information needed to navigate the rapidly changing health care environment. In addition, the Society represents the unified voice of physicians legislative health care issues through its advocacy efforts while providing physicians opportunities to also have their individual voices heard.

Our membership includes physicians practicing in the Greater Lee County, Florida area including those practicing in Bonita Springs, Estero, Fort Myers Beach, Lehigh Acres, Cape Coral, Punta Gorda and towns along the coast or inland. Physicians outside these areas may join by request.
